Blog #2

As stated on Dictionary.com, a “utopia” is any real or imaginary society, place, state, etc., considered to be perfect or ideal. The ideal place has no one that’s more successful than anyone else. There are no diseases; and if there is there would be a cure for it. It’s a place where everyone gets along no matter what similarities they have. The ideal place is perfect but, it’s only imagination because nothing can be perfect in every way.
Also on Dictionary.com, it states that a “dystopia” is a society characterized by human misery, as squalor, oppression, disease, and overcrowding. Another imaginary place where it displays the Murphy Law which is “If anything can go wrong, it willIt’s a place where everything goes wrong. It would be a place where there is overpopulation but yet a lot of people would be dying from diseases and lack of food.
Both are unrealistic but would be the way people think how the world will be if everything in the world goes right or wrong. The world is balance in where none is possible to ever happen. People have made examples of an utopia and dystopia in movies and television shows. In each of the shows or movies that have one; there is always a perfect civilization until something happens whether it happens in or out of the city that causes it to no longer be a utopia or dystopia. Which shows that if there is such a thing as one; it would not last for long because of the outsiders or because of a minor glitch in the system.
